Everyone has their own beliefs, some believe in more than one God others believe in no God notwithstanding a higher power and others just believe in no God.

The Wager basically says that we should chose to believe in something; in this case God, because if we believe and there is no God all we have done is wasted our time in accept in something that never knowed and to Pascal it was better to do that than to not believe and go to Hell because he did.
